Welcome to the Urmston Summer Fiesta 2012 – We are back for another year!!!

Mission Statement

We want to create a local festival that local families can enjoy, local business can take part in, local bands and dance schools can entertain to.  We want to achieve this by encouraging local business to support and sponsor, create a friendly and fun atmosphere for people to attend and give the platform for people to entertain.

History

The Urmston Summer Fiesta will be in its fourth year in 2012 and hope to break all attendance records in the past 3 years.

• 2009 in our first Year we had 4,000 people attend in Urmston Grammar School
• 2010 In our second year we had 14,000 people attend in Golden Hill Park
• 2011 In our third year we had over 17,000 people attend in Urmston Grammar School
• 2012 in our fourth year it is what we can make it….

As you can see we have improved year on year without compromising on the goals we set out in the first year.

Taking part

We are looking to get as many of the local businesses involved this year and are opening the books up to people who wish to get involved in such an exciting weekend and promote themselves to hopefully more than 17,000 people in just 2 days.

We are only going to allow certain business on the site that do fit into our ethos and then will enrich the diverse businesses that take part.  To this end there will be limited spaces for market stalls and businesses that want to provide food and drink.
